Media Expo Mumbai: Changing the face of consumer engagement

The Mumbai edition of Media Expo, India’s largest exhibition for indoor and outdoor advertising, signage and printing industries, opened on 23 February at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The exhibition is on until 25 February.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Saurabh Goswamy, director, AT Inks, Deborshi Paul Choudhury, business head, Apsom Infotex, Vimlesh Arora, managing director, J N Arora & Co, Sanjay Shah, director, Suresh Indu Laser, Zakir Vohra, director, ADS LED, Rajeev Bhaskaran, director, B&R Digital and Tomohiro Ikeda, director, Mimaki India.

Spanning a 7,000 sq/mt exhibition area, the 40th edition of the show has 127 exhibitors from five countries, marking it a 20% increase in exhibition space as well as a number of exhibitors.

Key highlights at the show would be Roland DG’s next generation advanced wide-format print and cut machine, the unveiling of the TrueVIS VG-640 in India for the first time. Docan, a new UV Ultraviolet (UV) printing technology, to be demonstrated by Infinity Digital Solutions. Mehta Cad Cam Systems will be launching two new products, and Gongzheng - Gongzheng solvent printer GZC 3202 equipped with two starfire printheads is present for the first time in India.

The Made-in-India, eco-solvent printer, Vybrant 1800 by Fujifilm, specifically designed for the Indian market to provide high quality with affordable costs. Instadium Merchandise, LED fabric lightbox, portable fabric advertising product solutions by the Flag Company.

The Stahls range of CAD-CUT and CAD-COLOR heat transfer films and the Hotronix range of heat presses, the GCC expert professional cutting plotter and fusing machines by SkyScreen. The eco-solvent printer, OKI M64 LCIS by Arrow Digital are present at the show.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, the event is for trade professionals, marketers, advertising and corporate employees.
