Media Expo 2018 New Delhi opens

Delhi edition of Media Expo, the country largest exhibition for advertising and signage solutions, open its doors on 7 September 2018. The show is on until 9 September at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Like every year, Media Expo is all set to explore innovations in Indian advertising, printing and signage technologies, besides focusing on the industry’s attempt to go green, with exhibitors displaying eco-friendly products, new concepts and product launches.

The Delhi edition of Media Expo 2018 was inaugurated by a panel comprising of Bhavna Saluja, country manager, HP; Shailesh Mehta, managing director, Mehta Cad Cam; Caroline Bonnafoux, marketing manager, EncresDubit, France; Deborshi Paul, business head, Apsom Infotex; JK Lee, managing director, Neofoam, South Korea; Sandeep Jindal, director, Jindal Speciality; Anil Gupta, chairman, Acrylic Association, New Delhi; Winston Pereira, general manager, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and Michael Dehn, general manager, sales & marketing, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India.

The show opened on an affirmative note as companies from all over the country are exhibiting their finest products to enhance marketing and advertising campaigns.

Covering halls 11, 12 and 12A, the show will have a good mix of national as well as international technologies from countries like India, China, France and Korea. Many companies from cities outside New Delhi are also exhibiting at the show for the first time as this edition is perfectly timed with the booming economics of the region.

Apart from the new entrants, the show floor is packed with advanced solutions from key companies like Colorjet, Apsom Infotex, Esko, HP, Caldron Graphics, Mehta Cad Cam, Rextone, Monotech, Fujifilm, Mimaki, Epson India, Technova Imaging, SRF, Keith Electronics, Jindal Specialty, SY Century and Encres Dubit, to name a few.

Betting on the growing ad market

Post the previous successful editions, 95% exhibition space at Media Expo 2018 New Delhi reported sold two months before the show. The 43rd edition of the show has witnessed a major surge in participation of new companies, with 25 new companies from Mumbai and other cities like Jaipur, Ludhiana and Lucknow showcasing solutions to enhance the overall quality of brand campaigns.

With advertising expenditure in India expecting to grow at 10.5% to touch Rs 62,400 crore in 2018, Delhi is emerging as one of the latest hubs for the advertising world. With some of the biggest advertising spenders situated here, Delhi has risen to as one of the largest markets in India that spends on advertising, making this another high point for the exhibitors to display their solutions at Media Expo 2018.

Bringing in a fresh wave of brands and companies to choose from, visitors from sectors like designers and consultants, brand marketers, ad agencies, media agencies, and retailers will get the opportunity to meet businessmen with new ideas, advanced solutions, and better price competency.
