Kenichiro Seki, managing director, Mimaki India stated that the theme of Mimaki’s India booth was to highlight their UV flagship models; the UCJV330 Series, a print and cut UV-LED inkjet printer that enhances productivity and image quality, combining the flagship 330 Series technology with advanced UV printing which focuses on high productivity and image quality and UJV100-160Plus, an entry-level UV printer that offers low power consumption (0.5kW, 20% less than eco-solvent and latex printers) along with three additional functions to expand applications, reduce costs, and improve work efficiency. 

The print and cut solutions on display at the booth featured Mimaki’s integrated eco-solvent print and cut solutions with Mimaki CJV150-160 Eco Solvent Printer and Mimaki CG Cutting Plotters. This can be used on vehicle wraps, decals, and custom product labels produced in a seamless, cut-to-shape workflow. Their industrial and specialty printing showcased their new UJF-6042MkII e flatbed UV inkjet printer, supporting A2 bed size and 153 mm height.

Seki said, “It’s integral to explore all the segments and solutions of the Mimaki India booth, bearing an open mind and taking into consideration the use of one’s products in their own industry.” 

He also emphasised the need to consider long-term benefits such as the need to focus on energy efficiency and lower running costs as well as stay updated with industry trends.
