Media Expo Mumbai 2024 enters its 52nd edition

With a plethora of innovative products and exciting displays of effective advertising and signage solutions, the Media Expo Mumbai 2024 opened the doors for trade visitors to source, network and expand their business prospects on 9 May.

The expo has set the tone to unveil many new products and display a wide range of products under categories like printing equipment, digital signage, printing technology, signage solutions, retail displays, finishing and fabricating technology, consumables, substrates, media and screen-printing technologies.

The 2024 edition of Media Expo Mumbai was inaugurated by industry dignitaries, including Pawan Bansal, chairman, Indian Outdoor Advertising Association; Phil Wild, CEO, Metamark (UK); Praveen K Vadhera, CEO, Indian Outdoor Advertising Association; Krishna Iyer, director, marketing, Mullen Lowe Lintas Group; Jahan Mehta, chief growth officer, OAP India; Smarth Bansal, general manager – Brand/ Product Management, Colorjet; and Winston Pereira, executive director, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India.

The chief guest of Media Expo Mumbai 2024, Pawan Bansal said: “Out of home advertising industry in India is close to about Rs 4,500-crore and contributing 4 % to the ad expense. It is growing in double digit and the future of this industry looks bright with the evolution of the technologies. Media Expo has a lot to contribute to the Indian Out of Home advertising industry. With the ubiquity of sustainability, Media Expo is contributing and will continue to contribute in a significant way to educate this industry on how to use sustainable products to protect the environment. I wish the exhibitors and visitors of the media expo all the best.”

The first day of the exhibition witnessed many new product launches from companies like Canopus Imaging Systems; Raj Incorporated; Teckwin Sign Solutions; Dmark Lasers India; Govind International; Nucleus Graphics; Apsom Technologies; Ensure Tech Solutions and others.

The exhibition showcased the latest applications and machines in printing and signage from 150+ exhibitors, such as Navakar Ent; Colorjet; Super Us Systems; Nuclear; Mistry Sign; HP; Subh Plastics; Epson; Arihant Uniglobe; ADS LED; Bharti Creations; Kheizer; Canopus Systems; Co-Sign; Maruti Flex; Can Signage Systems; Orafol India; Geeta & Co; Apsom Technologies; Laser Technologies; Ansure Tech; Kartar Corporation; Mangalam Printers; Aestrik; Rio Signage; Meta Mark; Shreeji Sales; Sun Shine/Star Flex, among others, who will display their latest offerings and solutions.

Raj Manek, executive director and board member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings, shared his thoughts on the inauguration by stating: “As we witness the inauguration of Media Expo Mumbai 2024, it is evident from the show floor that the branding, advertising and media industry in India is poised for a remarkable growth. With each edition of the show, one gets to experience innovations from the industry and explore a wider business network. As an organiser, I believe we are nurturing an environment conducive to innovation and entrepreneurship by bringing the media industry ecosystem together.”

The expo is lined up with knowledge-sharing sessions that will give the attendees ideas on scaling businesses in the media segment and how to implement practices and processes to be more sustainable. The day also witnessed an impactful and thought-provoking panel discussion on ‘Marching towards Sustainability’.
