Azon Razor Hale is the newest model of Azon’s UV product line. The machine’s long lasting, energy efficient UV LED lamp generates low levels of heat for printing directly on a wide range of surfaces and three-dimensional objects up to 290mm wide. It utilises 290x800mm printable surface to print directly onto any material, such as PET, ABS, polycarbonate, TPU, wood, stone, glass, canvas, ceramic, leather and other soft materials up to 200mm height.
Parag Shah, director, Hi-Tech Systems, said, “We are focusing on digital finishing. In this, Azon is a software-driven solution, where print enhancement is the key. Our product will provide value enhancements for the print companies to build on their business.”
Hi-Tech Systems has more than 1,900 installations worldwide, among which around 50% are repeat customers.
At the show, Shah said Hi-Tech Systems hopes to close more than 10 deals.
Shah said the business has been good, especially in tier-II and III cities. He said capacity building will represent the biggest opportunity for the industry. “In 2017, our industry should focus more on skill enhancement, automation and the printers’ need to go the customers,” Shah said.
He also added that inkjet is the most popular technology today as it is low cost and offers high speed and quality.
