Media Expo: TechNova unveils JWEI CB03II kit

TechNova Imaging Systems inked an exclusive agreement with China-based JingWei a few months ago. On the back of that deal, the Taloja-based plate manufacturer displayed the JWEI CB03II digital cutting machine for the first time at the Media Expo show in Mumbai. In addition to this, a raft of eco-friendly print media for the wide-format segment was showcased at the show.

The JWEI CB series is suitable for the graphic and sign, POP and POS, OOH, packaging and automotive industries, among others. The machine is capable to run across a wide range of media and substrate thickness with cutting depth of up to 55mm.

S Swarnangka, chief operating officer for digital imaging solutions at TechNova, said, “Print service providers who cater to the wide-format and OOH industry will find this product to be of exceptional value. With JWEI, we offer a robust and affordable solution to build innovative print products.”

TechNova is the distributor of JingWei’s range of CB and LS series of digital flatbed cutting machines in India.

With the focus on providing environment-friendly solutions, the TechNova stall also displayed its range of PVC-free and green print media at the show. The print media showcased included substrates made of fabric, canvas, paper, PP, and PET which are easily recyclable.

Chetan Dave of TechNova Imaging Systems said, "The printers are becoming more aware about the environment. Plus there is also an impending ban on the non-recyclable media such as PVC being considered by the state government. Hence, with these solutions, we intend to be ahead of the curve."
