Meet in Delhi to discuss plastic waste management rules
The Foundation for Innovative Packaging and Sustainability (FIPS) will host a meeting to discuss the implementation of Plastic Waste Management (PWM) Rules on 5 September at the Juniper Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

The evening will commence with a panel discussion on the application of PCR in the conversion of polymeric materials for packaging application, from the perspective of converters. The speakers will be Vivek Jain of Duropack, Alok Kumar of Paharpur 3P, Barun Banerjee of Jaipur Laminators and Hariharan of EPL, moderated by MK Banerjee of FIPS.
The point of conversation surrounding the second panel discussion will be pre- and post-consumer plastics packaging materials compliance strategies to meet plastic waste management from the vantage point of brand owners. The speakers will be Vindhya Ayyagari from Haleon, Sarita Devi from Nestle, Naveen Stuart from Reckitt Benckiser, Sanjay Gupta from DS Group, Ganesh K from Bisleri, Himanshi Mahajan from Mother Dairy and Virendra Landge from Coca Cola. The session will be moderated by NC Saha of FIPS.
The agenda for this congregation includes case studies of R PET, R-PE and R-PP materials for packaging applications and the processing of virgin polymers with PCR among others. There will also be a film screening by the Pashupati Group.
The meeting will conclude with an interactive session with business media to summarise the takeaways from the evening.
