Madhav Athalye, managing director at Megtec Systems India, said, “The splicing system is mostly inline which is conventional. The system saves on ink, paper and manpower cost. The print firm prefers the automatic system as it saves time which is crucial for newspaper printing.”
Athalye added, “The splicing system reduces the start-up and end waste and gives constant quality. Due to its small footprint it saves on floor space.”
At the show, Megtec Systems India has received 10 orders for AR 35-I on the last day from a newspaper group in Tamil Nadu and 12 orders for WTB-410. Besides these orders, Megtec Systems India has "20 enquiries for its automatic splicing systems".
