The machine is available in two formats: GZM 3202 SG with two Dimatix Starfire heads and GZM 3204 SG with four Dimatix Starfire heads.

Shailesh Mehta, managing director at Mehta Cad Cam, said, “Starfire 1024 printhead produces 25 picolitre ink drops targeted at flex and banner printing. As this is a repairable printhead, users will not need to replace the printhead for up to 10 years.”

The USP of the printhead is that As the ink circulation keeps going continuously it does not require purging even when the machine is not printing.

The company has launched a new eco-solvent printer range: Thunderjet. The two models A1801S and A1802S print on vinyl with high resolution and dye sublimation for textile printing respectively.

According to Mehta, the company will soon launch 10 picolitre printhead for Vinyl and dye sublimation printing with Spectra printheads, which will be the fastest among its kind.

The Spectra and Thunderjet printers are manufactured by China-based Gongzhang, which Mehta has been representing since the past 10 years.
