This fifth session (the first in the current academic year) of Masterclass is slated for 25 July (Friday) at the institute's auditorium.

Desai said, "Considering the industry structure and business models in the Indian printing and packaging industry, it is obvious for students to encounter difficulties in their job hunt. Being a businessman in this industry since 2002, the session would be a mix of my experiences and advice for students on their approach while initiating a career in this industry."

Desai added that the printing industry in India is dynamic and has a huge potential in store and demand for professionally trained workforce.

The session is targeted at over 120 students pursuing Bachelor of Engineering in Printing and Packaging Technology.

Sagar Shejwalkar, HOD at SIES, said that such sessions are important to make students industry-ready.

In the previous editions of Masterclass, industry’s marquee names such as Superlekha’s Sawant, Hi-Tech’s Agboatwala, Comart’s Poonawala and Vakil’s Mehta graced the sessions.

The Masterclass series is jointly organised by SIES,

PrintWeek India and Bombay Master Printers’ Association.
