MGE's EcoSmart Chillers get a PrintPack debut

MGE Graphic Systems India unveiled it's EcoSmart Dampening Chiller at PrintPack India, held at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The EcoSmart range of chillers, with Intelligent PLC controlled smart power supply, is suitable for systems consuming 6kW to 25kW of power.

According to MGE, the smart power supply is designed specially to work in conjunction with the compressor, enabling the EcoSmart range of chillers to operate from 50% to 120% of their rated capacities. Additionally, the system has been designed to tailor it's output to match the cooling demands of the press. Thus, unlike the conventional chiller, as the company claims, the EcoSmart chillers facilitate 10-15% electrical power saving and an extended life, too.

The chillers can be operated and monitored over the internet and the MGE technicians will aid a 24x7 customer service. Another feature of the EcoSmart units is its possible monitoring at a centralised location, an advantage to a muilti-loctional printer, who will be able to centrally monitor a number of machines on a single screen. Furthermore, the equipment allows a configuration to send out Email and SMS notification, which will enable prompt identification of potential issues to the concerned personnel.

Earlier last year, MGE announced the addition of the complete range of Benford’s UV drying systems in its kitty. The company provides sales, installation and technical support to customers throughout India and its associated territories. Additionally, MGE India also distributes and supports Pierry infrared drying systems for sheetfed and web presses within India and associated Indian territories.
