Michelman India begins operation

Amidst associates and family members, Michelman India (the entity formed with Michelman's acquisition of Supack International) officially announced the commencement of its operations.

Dr Rick Michelman, a board member and the third generation into the firm; Steven Wong, vice president and managing director – Asia Pacific; along with Pankaj Shah, the co-director of Michelman India, addressed the attendees while chalking its India plans.

"There is tremendous opportunity in the Asian market; especially in India. With our direct presence in Indian, we intend to address the specific needs of the industry and customers with our customised solutions across the coating, print/packaging and industrial manufacturing product line," said Michelman. 

For Wong, Michelman's growth trajectory in India will soar to great heights owing to the needs and innovations that the Indian customers demand.

Michelman India's laboratory has been equipped with several industry accepted product testing capabilities for packaging, printing, and coating applications and according to Shah, the growing printing and packaging sector is the company's immediate focus.
