The plan is to start operations for flexible packaging by December 2021 and set up Miracle Packaging Park in a 49 acres of land and hit the Rs 1,000-crore mark by 2025. Judging by the company’s success, it’s not an impossible goal.  

The company started with trading of corrugation boxes, and slowly moved to the manufacturing of corrugation, mono-carton, HDPE and labels. And from the humble beginning in Jaipur, it has now set up plants in other states — Punjab, Bihar, Gujarat, with a plan to set-up similar packaging parks, where the entire range of packaging related material will be manufactured under a single roof. Plast, was established in the middle of the pandemic in April 2020.

“Corrugation is one of the fastest-growing segments because of its applications, recyclability and strength. We have our presence in the East, West and Northern parts of India, and are now working on creating our presence in the Southern part of the country. Initially, our plan is to work as a third party in Bengaluru and once the situation demands, we will not hesitate to set up our own plant,” said Lokesh Agrawal, director-sales and marketing, Miracle Group of Companies, who is responsible for business, new product development and procurement.

Amit Agrawal, director-operations, Miracle Group of Companies, added, “We are converting more than one-lakh tonnes of kraft paper in all four locations – Jaipur, Rajasthan; Barnala, Punjab; Kandla, Gujarat and Patna, Bihar. Our corrugation units are equipped with automatic converting lines, and we produce two-ply, three-ply and five-ply corrugation cartons. We have developed our corrugated boxes with higher strength and less weight. Our testing lab is well equipped. Most of our converting lines are imported.” Amit is the youngest, and responsible for operations, planning and production and quality and technical.

Hemendra Agrawal is the eldest and is responsible for finance and planning, project management and strategic management. He is also the chief managing director of the company. “We were fortunate enough with our calculations went well that we could swim against the tides,” he said.

Meanwhile, the company is strengthening its existing set-up of corrugation by adding new and more machines, including a new flexo folder-gluer inline system in its Kandla plant, and a kraft paper mill in Jaipur.
