Miraj Multicolour invests in WP Speedliner
Udaipur-based Miraj Multicolour has installed a brand-new Speedliner from Heiber + Schroeder enabling the printing and packaging company to match up to customer requirements.

The WP Speedliner has been running on the company shopfloor for the last six months. KG Sharma, the director, Miraj Multicolour, said. “Previously, we were unable to match the level of commitment that our customers required. The Speedliner has allowed us to do that. We are delighted. Our production rates have gone up by 95%. We are also able to reduce our waste as well.”
He added that the installation of the machine has permitted the company to retain all of its customers and meet their requirements. “The machine delivers high-quality products. Customers are satisfied with our business. It is all we could have hoped for.”
Sharma said the Speedliner is great value for money as well as produces great output. It allows full throttle and enables safe production. It can paste up to 36,000 blanks per hour with liner at top speed, has a patented feeder teach-in-function and electronic friction control, and its blank transfer system allows better foil and liner positioning.
“We have never had a client complain about minor variations. The liner only moves to about two-mm in cases,” Sharma said.
The machine is user-friendly and it took only about a day to install. Post-installation, it took Sharma and his team about a month to get familiar with its workings. Till now, Miraj Multicolour has faced no technical problems with the Speedliner.
“I would rate this machine a 10/10. I do not believe any machine can match up to the level of this product,” Sharma concluded.
The company currently possesses five Heidelberg machines, seven automatic die-cutters, five folder-gluers, and three lamination machines. It primarily manufactures FMCG packaging materials.
