MIT organises Print On 2013

The Department of Printing and Media Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) in association with Manipal Technologies and Institute of Print and Media Technology, Chemnitz University of Technology, Chemnitz, Germany has organised an international conference on 23 and 24 January 2013.

The conference titled as Print On 2013 will provide an overview on future scenario of integrated print environment. Prof Dr Prakash Shetty, head of department, (MIT), said, “The two-day conference will have three keynote addresses and around 16 presentations which will highlight the latest advancements in print media covering print solutions, green technology and packaging solutions.”

The eminent speakers for the conference include Dr Arved Huebler, director, pmTUC, Chemnitz University of Technology; Dr Rajendrakumar Anayath, head PMA, Chennai; Dr H Naik Dhravath; associate professor, Central Connecticut State University, USA; Koji Ichikawa, senior technical manager, Fujifilm India; S Shyam Mohan, proprietor, aNiman Graphic Supplies, Bengaluru; Prof P Dasgupta, consultant and ex-head, food division, HUL, Bengaluru and Kiran Prayagi, print technologist and chairman Graphic Arts Technology and Education, Mumbai.  
 
The conference, sponsored by Creed Engineers,Esko-Graphics India, Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers,  and Mercury Paper, is expected to be attended by 200 delegates.
