Mold-Tek displays in-mould labeling decoration
At Indiapack, Hyderabad-based Mold-Tek Packaging introduces for the first time in India the IML in-mould labeling decoration and also the latest edition of edible oil packaging, with a target to replace the old tins and provide value addition in the products.

Established in 1986, Mold-Tek is the manufacturer of plastic rigid products with over 20% market share and a processing capacity of 15,000 tonnes per annum.
Mold-Tek offers product ranges like injection-molded, up to 75 litre plastic pails (with in-mould or external spout), for packaging lubes, greases, bulk pack for chemicals, paints, bulk drugs, inks, synthetic adhesives, and plastic containers of 460 ml for packaging food products.
Mohan Padmanabhan, senior general manager-marketing and co-ordination, said, “We believe in innovative concepts. We are now shifting our focus to FMCG industries to offer variety of product ranges.” Padmanabhan is bullish about the future of the Indian market and the potential growth of his company. “In 2014-2015, we had Rs 380 crore of turnover. We are expecting at least 25% growth next year.” The company has 70 injection molding machines with six manufacturing plants and three stock points spread across India.
The brand has key clients like Mondelez India, Heinz, Amul, Vadilal and in lubricants, Castrol, Gulf, Shell India and Valvoline. The total strength of the staff in Mold-Tek is 1,500.
