Monotech announces Rs 200-crore target for FY16
Multi equipment supplier and manufacturer, Monotech Systems is aiming to complete their transformation since the Konica Minolta business sale by hitting the Rs 200 crore turnover mark this financial year.

Speaking to PrintWeek India at their stand in PrintExpo, T P Jain, managing director of Monotech Systems, said, “Many were wondering how we would replace such a huge chunk of our business but the turnaround is near completion with 60% of our revenue stream replaced by our focused addition of new products both as partners and as manufacturers.”
The company which has seen a huge upswing with the Scodix digital finishing presses have doubled the Scodix presence at Drupa with almost 25 more of the presses confirmed.
“The good thing to happen in Drupa for us in terms of Scodix is it becoming mainstream. A host of commercial and packaging printers have signed up with us and the order books quickly filled. Incidentally, it will be P M Digitals once again who will be the first in India to install Scodix Ultra in September,” explained Jain.
The Chennai-based company also unveiled their own brand of perfect binder machine, Digibind at the expo. This in addition to their highly successful wide format printers, Pixeljet and industrial inkjet printers, Jetsci.
“I can confidently call ourselves market leaders in the UV flatbed printing segment with more than 60 installations throughout the country. We have captured the industrial segment and will continue to identify new applications to target,” added Jain.
He also confirmed a total of 70 installations for the Jetsci inkjet printers being installed in India to date.
Sharing the progress on company’s latest venture into 3D printing, Jain said, “Metamorph, our company which provides 3D printing services has made good market penetration in a very short time of six months. We are excited by a whole new range of application in jewellery, dentistry etc, apart from prototyping being tried for 3D printing,” explained Jain.
“We constantly look to add new products to our line as part of our philosophy and print finishing is our area of focus for the coming months,” signed off Jain.
