Monotech extends its global footprint with Jetsci installations
India’s leading equipment and solution provider Monotech Systems is ready to install five Jetsci inkjet printing systems overseas within this financial year. The installations will be done in Poland, Brazil, Philippines, Russia and China. The systems comprise of Jetsci Y series and X1 Series hybrid systems plus the Jetsci iMCR solution for pack-to-pack MICR inkjet Printing.

With these installations Monotech Systems is proud to extend their foothold in global install base with the entry to 11 countries.
Neeraj Thappa, GM, international sales, Monotech Systems, said, “With the increase in regulations and requirements from the brand owners VDP requirement is growing and so is the application list. Monotech’s dedicated team is working on to address these and proud to share that new markets are accepting the solutions that we develop and manufacture in India.”
Thappa said the success in opening the new markets is based on the system performance for the applications that they are catering to, Team Jetsci’s support, regular follow ups and understanding the job requirements as every country has its own regulations + systems and a unique workflow to do things. In order to support our customer base, Monotech now also has global channel network to service the customers locally.”
One of the Monotech’s overseas customers, Kingsley, director, DTM in Philippines, said, “We were looking for the hi-speed inkjet systems for some time now and Monotech’s Jetsci was one of them. I visited the Jetsci Center of Excellence in India for a live demonstration scheduled for few days, but after arriving at the New Delhi facility, I was clear in six hours as to what solution and configuration I needed. I was delighted with the sales and the post-sales experience as all the commitments met. The installation process planned was smooth."
Meanwhile, Monotech Systems and Pressline have agreed to jointly develop, produce and market a high-speed digital inkjet press, which the companies said, will cater to the newspaper, transactional and book printing markets worldwide.
Jetsci has over 100 installations globally, while Pressline, a 27-year-old company manufactures web offset printing machines and has over 750 installations worldwide.
The deal was signed during Pamex in December 2017. The solutions will be offered under the brand Pressline-Jetsci. The system will run at a maximum of 300m/min. Monotech sees a market of about 30 to 35 units in the Indian market.
