At the exhibition, the company showcased digital textile printers from Shenzhen, China-based Homer Textile Tech, and highlighted two models for direct fabric printing –HM1800 and HM1800S.
According to Ajit Mohanty, general manager, textile business, Monotech, these models from Homer are robust and they are ideal for high production printing on fabric.
The exhibition also saw the launch of the Pixeljet SP2220 sublimation printer from the company’s own Pixeljet brand. This machine is equipped with Ricoh printhead for high-speed and quality printing. Monotech also highlighted its solutions for socks and undergarment printing at GTE 2016.
“It was great to introduce Homer to the Indian market. Though the country already has three installations of Homer, we have now started a full-fledged promotion of the product,” said Mohanty. The three Homer machines were installed by the previous Indian representative of Homer Textile Tech. Since Monotech took over, the company has installed one machine as of now.
“Meanwhile, we have received tremendous responses for Pixeljet sublimation printers. We hope to achieve a good number of installations in the coming months.”
The Homer range of machines is suitable for exporters with high volume. Besides offering speed, colour and stability, Homer machines also offer the advantage of low cost of mass production. These machines are suitable for sofa covers, bed covers, cushions and sub-signage.
