Monotech to launch new solvent printers at Media Expo
Chennai-based equipment manufacturer and supplier Monotech Systems is set to launch Jumbo and Starfire series of solvent printers under its Pixeljet brand at Media Expo scheduled from 29 September to 1 October at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

The Jumbo series adopts Konica Minolta KM512i independent drive printhead technology with a resolution of max up to 1440dpi and print speed of 115/76/57sqm in 2/3/4 pass respectively.
According to Monotech, ‘this machine has been especially designed for high production and achieving an average quality whereas the Starfire series has been especially designed for high production and high quality printing.’
The Starfire adopts Spectra Starfire print head with 1024 individually addressable jets that offers a maximum resolution of 1600dpi with printing speed of 220/140/110sqm in 2/3/4 pass respectively.
The press release added, ‘The range of Pixeljet large format printers are suitable for small as well as high scale business purposes and can be used for printing color as well as black and white line drawings, outdoor advertising, signage, maps, presentations, etc.’
In a recent interview with PrintWeek India, TP Jain, managing director of Monotech had said the company would aim to achieve 200 crore for FY 16 and that they would continue to introduce new products.
The Jumbo and Starfire presses along with several other equipment would be demonstrated live in G50 in Hall 1 of the exhibition.
