Monotech representing Taiwan manufacturer Labelmen Machinery
Chennai-headquartered Monotech Systems has tied up with Taiwan-based Labelmen Machinery, a manufacturer of rotary letterpress, intermittent offset press, letterpress and die-cut equipment for the label industry, to market and sell its products in India. An agreement towards this was signed during Drupa 2016 at Dusseldorf.

“Labelmen, which has a strong presence in inkjet, labels and the packaging segment, is a right partner in one of the industry’s fastest-growing and never-ending segments,” said TP Jain, managing director, Monotech Systems. “With constant development efforts to make better, faster products for labels and packaging industry, Labelmen’s wide range of products will be a privilege for us to have in our product portfolio and to offer to Indian customers.”
Presently, Monotech Systems offers a wide range of products for the labels and packaging market, including industrial inkjet systems for variable data printing, label converting, brand protection, track and trace solutions from its made in India brand Jetsci, and a range of conventional and hybrid flexo printing presses from its partner Focus Label Machinery.
Labelmen specialises in rotary letterpress, offset press, die-cutting and letterpress. The Taiwan manufacturer designs with technologies such as CNC one touch makeready design, ani-print inking system and remote monitoring and diagnosing.

Before partnering with Monotech, the Taiwan-based company was selling its products directly in India. According to sources, there are around 50 installations of Labelmen machines in the country, with Essel Propack being one of its biggest customers.
