Mudran Pratishthan felicitates Rishikumar Uniyal
Pune-based Mudran Maharshi Dr Pa Bha Kulkarni Pratishthan conducted its fourth annual event on 10 August 2018 at Pune Vidyarthi Griha's auditorium.

Prof Rishikumar Uniyal, ex-principal (Maharashtra Institute of Printing Technology) MIPT and ex-assistant director, director of technical education, Mumbai was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Sanskrit scholar, Vasant Gadgil.
In his address to the students, Uniyal laid emphasis on “disciplined work which has helped me in developing my career all along.” The day’s proceedings also saw the Pratishthan’s annual scholarship being distributed to meritorious students.
The event was attended by various personnel from the printing industry namely the president of Poona Press Owners Association Ravi Joshi along with
PrintWeek India’s Power 100 listed BS Shesh, CEO Burda Druck India; Amol Deshpande, director of Amol Associates and Mandar Ugar, director of Vikram Printers and founder of WordSmith Publications. They urged the upcoming print technologists to focus on print education and explore a career in the “dynamic and ever-changing print industry.”
The Pratishthan, which started its activities on 26 August 2015 in Pune, is dedicated to the betterment of printing education and recognition of those who have excelled in the printing industry. As a first step in achieving this goal, the organisation has started awarding scholarships to deserving students of the printing faculty of the institutes run by Pune Vidyarthi Griha. Like every year, various students from printing diploma were awarded a scholarship of Rs 5000.
Every year, it also felicitates one person from the printing industry for his/her outstanding work and contributions to the industry.
Last year, Madhavrao Ambavale alias Anna, a print industry veteran was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
