Multitec Aids to demonstrate Ecoflex at Labelexpo 2011
Faridabad-based Multitec Aids, an Indian company providing printing and converting solutions in the mid-web and narrow-web range, will present a live demo of its Ecoflex label press at Labelexpo 2011 (hall 7/stand K124) from 28 September to 1 October.

The machine is a narrow-web flexo press for printing of labels, tags, thermal rolls, etc. "The press at the show will be a 330mm, six-colour, all UV, movable cold foil, two die stations, video inspection, slitting, laminating and dual product rewind configuration," said Amit Ahuja owner of Multitec. The maximum speed of the machine is 150m/min.
The company has sold over 12 presses outside India and over 35 in India within past three years. The Mulitec manufacturing facility is located at Faridabad and is spread over six acres area.
Ecoflex press is available in widths of 330mm and 450mm and has a 40 inch unwind. Ahuja added: "There is a variable in-feed system for precise in-feed tension, pneumatic splicing table, mid-press pacing unit that resets the tension between the print and the die-cut units thus improving register quality, two die-cut units and a dual rewinder as standard. Options include delam-relam, cold-foil units, turnbar, sheeter stacker, corona treater and web cleaner."
