Mumbai Mudrak Sangh to address taxation issues

As a part of Printer's Day celebrations, Mumbai Mudrak Sangh has organised an open house panel discussion on the pressing issue of taxation, titled as 'Taxation and the Printer' on 12 April at The Courtyard by Marriot, Mumbai followed by 217th Governing Council Meeting of the All India Federation of Master Printers on the 13th and the 14th Arpil.

Tushar Dhote, vice president, West, AIFMP, said, "India is currently experiencing a deceleration in growth which is expected to pose a major challenge to most of us in near future. It is also becoming important to manage business profeassionally and so concepts like HRD, corporate communications, MIS etc need to be understood and adopted. Also, the government is expecting a lot of compliances from the businessmen on direct and indirect tax  and other state and central levis."  

The discussion will adopt an interactive technique in which panelist will answer specific questions and then have a dialogue with the auidience on matters of concern to the print industry.

Narendra Jadhav, a renowned economist and a member of Planning commission (Government of India) is the chief guest for the programme while Govind Bhargava, president AIFMP is the guest of honour.

Followed by the panel discussion is the bestowment of Life Time Achievement Award on R Chockalingam of Sivakasi-based Srinivas Fine Arts for his contribution towards industry and social causes.

More than 300 print CEOs are expected to attend the event.
