Mumbai’s Just Print boosts production with Canon

A Canon loyalist, Andheri (E), Mumbai-based Just Print invested in a brand-new Canon ImagePress V1000, a groundbreaking tool to boost productivity to another level.     

“With the installation of the new ImagePress V1000, we now have a family of five Canon presses currently running in our facility,” Shantilal Nisar, proprietor of Just Print, said, “We, however, keep replacing older Canon models with the latest and upgraded ones. In this, we have marked Mumbai’s many firsts when we installed Canon presses in our facility.”

The Canon presses now running in Just Print’s production facility are the new ImagePress V1000; ImagePress C9010VP colour digital press, first installation in Mumbai or western India in 2022; ImagePrograf TM-5350, iPF8410 ImagePrograf, two plotters for posters and large-format graphics; and ImageRunner Advance DX 8705 for monochrome prints.    

“Just recently when we realised the fact that our existing presses simply couldn’t keep up with the required volume of production, we eventually decided to bring home a brand-new Canon ImagePress V1000 colour production press and it indeed won over us as its unique features met most of our requirements,” Nisar said.

Capable to operate at the speed of 100 A4-ppm, Canon ImagePress V1000 is compatible with varied lightweight and heavyweight media ranging from 52- to 400-gsm, delivering graphics in 2400x2400-dpi resolution. Nisar said, “This new Canon press, which provides speed, accuracy, and range of functions, can easily thrive production capacity of 10,000 impressions per day.” 

Backed by a team of 16 printing professionals, Nisar has recently been joined by his son Vijay. 

The company offers all sorts of commercial prints, applications, and end-products such as cards, stickers, boxes, brochures, catalogues, labels, posters, promotional signage graphics, etc. In addition to high-end digital printing presses, the company has a post-press unit equipped with a string of Vulcan laser cutting, half-cutting, corner-cutting, centre-pinning, and creasing machines as well as laminators.
