According to Pravin Patel of King Digital, the company decided to opt for the Canon ImagePress V1000 for its excellent print quality on synthetic, texture and thicker paper like 400-g/m2 and good after-sales support from the service team.

“We are committed to keeping our quality of products and brand image high in the market,” Patel said. “With the recent addition of the Canon ImagePress V1000 in our fleet, we are certain to strengthen our commitment and increase our customer base and print volume.”

Serving the Navi Mumbai print market for the past 25 years, King Digital has four organisations under its umbrella – King Digital, King Digital NX (Mansarovar), Punji Printing Press and Punji Digital (Qatar).

The company has been using a Canon ImagePress C850 for some time, and recently replaced its Konica Minolta C6085 with the newly-launched Canon ImagePress V1000.

With the new installation, King Digital is planning to increase its volume to 2.5 lakh impressions per month. Currently, its monthly print volume is 1.5 lakh 13x19-inches impressions.

The new Canon ImagePress V1000, suitable for the mid-production digital print environment, offers users features such as versatility, viability, high-volume printing, and vibrant print quality. Integrated with all-new POD-SURF (Surface Rapid Fusing), the ImagePress V1000 maintains a consistent print speed of 100 A4 pages/min on coated and heavy media types up to 400-gsm, sustaining high efficiency when printing complex and mixed media jobs. With multiple feeding options, remote alerts, operators can change media and toner and remove toner waste while keeping the ImagePress V1000 running for maximum productivity.

The machine has been designed to address most of the challenges of graphic print environments, such as consistent print quality, front-back registration, high media switching time, limited media handling capability, lesser productivity and low equipment life.
