NAEP awards to be hosted along with Pamex

A flagship event of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), National Awards for the Excellence in Printing (NAEP) will be held along with the Pamex show in 2017.

The 12th edition of NAEP will be hosted by Printers Guild, Nagpur during the Pamex show, scheduled from 18 to 21 December 2017 in Mumbai.

The organisers have decided to further strengthen the NAEP awards and give an international presence. In the next edition of NAEP, entries from other countries will also be welcomed.

In an effort to reach 80 percent of the printers living in tier two and three cities, AIFMP has launched its own App. The App was launched by Kamal Chopra, president of AIFMP during the governing council meeting held in New Delhi.

During the launch, Tushar Dhote, chief managing director at Dhote Offset Technokrafts, said, “The App is equipped to give all the relevant information about AIFMP with quite a few interesting features. The App is still in the development stage and it is being developed as extremely user-friendly, which can offer support instantly.”

AIFMP is the first association in India to launch an App. Currently, the App is available on android and shall be made available on iOS as well.

With a vision to promote print education in India and to prompt printing as a career, AIFMP has also initiated scholarships, stipends and gold medals for the students in printing fraternity in India. This was announced during the five-day PrintPack 2017 show at the AIFMP stall.
