Namaste Telangana orders Manroland Cromoman 4x1
The Telugu daily, Namaste Telangana, has placed an order with Manroland India to manufacture and supply Cromoman 4x1 newspaper press. This is seen as one of the major breakthroughs for the web offset press manufacturer in the recent times.

Namaste Telangana was launched on June 6, 2011, with an aim to focus on politics and developments of the Telangana State. The newspaper is owned by Telangana Publications and is published from the 10 districts of the newly formed state.
Srinivas Ch, general manager - operations, Namaste Telengana, said, “Being a young daily newspaper we have revolutionised the newspaper market in the state of Telangana. We are very successful journalistically as well as economically. Our investment in Cromoman 4-1 also reflects this development.”
He added, “We had a very close look at the press series. The efficient and energy-saving production combined with a high output is the ideal equipment for our growing business. In addition, availability of skilled technicians trained in Germany with Manroland India was also a crucial driver of our decision to invest in a Manroland press. In future we will be able to offer even better quality to our readers and advertising customers.”
The Cromoman 4x1 has especially been designed considering the Indian conditions and is highly suitable for the Indian market.
Manroland India’s Pankaj Bhasin, said, “The desirable features such as printing speed of 75,000 copies per hour, variable web width, reduced building expenses as it can be accommodated in the same building, makes it highly suitable for the Indian customers.”
“With the new Cromoman 4x1 we perfectly focus on our future business. Now we are able to handle – in addition to our daily newspaper – various print jobs. We are going to expand our business into contractual printing. The press produces excellent quality also in the field of heat set production of magazines. With its variable web width, manifold customer requirements can be fulfilled flexibly,” concluded Srinivas.
The machine is expected to be installed by December 2015.
