Kapil Gupta, director of Narsingh Dass feels that a major trend he has seen over the last few years is that the quality consciousness among customers has improved and now they are willing to pay premium for quality products that help to improve their product and productivity.

He also feels that it is critical for all the members in the value chain to adapt better forecasting and planning tools to predict demand. “It’s very impressive to see that many printers are building world class facilities using latest print machines and post-press equipment. Also, there is a very strong desire to deliver value to customers at minimum cost and lowest wastages,” Gupta said.

Asked how the distance of the new venue would affect the footfall this year at PrintPack, he replied, “We expect more focussed and expo-specific customers visiting the show as it is located at a distant place. So hope to have higher ratio of opportunities and conversions over footfalls.”
