The National Printing Expo was held in Gandhinagar on 7-9 September 2024.

The purpose of organising the National Printing Expo in Gujarat was clear that Gujarat is an industrially developed state, the maximum number of printing machines in the country are manufactured in Gujarat, the most important thing is that the people of Gujarat believe in innovation and the entrepreneurs of Gujarat play their full role in the efforts of industrial development.

The whole world saw this Gujarati spirit in the second edition of the National Printing Expo. This was the second expo in the country and the first in Gujarat by the Printers Club of India.

Initially, there were some apprehensions, but the historic success of the show dwarfed all doubts. The young team of the Printers Club proved something that had never happened in the history of Gujarat. Small printing exhibitions may have been held in Gujarat before, but an expo of the size and international standard of the National Printing Expo was never held.

In this three-day expo, the exhibitors, visitors and guests were all impressed with the hard work and dedication of the young team of the Printers Club.

On the first day of the National Printing Expo, on 7 September, the National Printing Expo was inaugurated by Gandhinagar’s first woman mayor Miraben Patel and Gandhinagar South's energetic MLA Alpesh Thakor. In her address, Patel said, “For the first time such a huge printing expo has been organised in Gandhinagar. I welcome the representatives of the printing industry from all over the country to this land of Gandhiji. This expo will provide an opportunity to modernise and advance the printing industry of Gujarat.”

Thakor added, “Printing is an integral part of all our lives. There are immense employment opportunities in the printing industry of Gujarat. The National Printing Expo will create new employment and business opportunities in the printing expo of Gujarat.”

President of Printers Association Ahmedabad Mukesh Bhai and founder of Raj Publication Narendra Bhai Parmar were also present at the inaugural ceremony. Directors of Printers Club of India Aditya Singh, Nitin Namdev and Lalit Kumawat also addressed the ceremony.

With a grand opening on the first day, the National Printing Expo witnessed a huge crowd of trade visitors from across Gujarat from the printing industry. More than 5,000 trade visitors attended the expo on the first day. On the first day, visitors arrived from a record 100 cities of 21 states.

On the second day, a new record was created in Gujarat. For the first time, such a large number of trade visitors arrived at any industrial expo organised here. As soon as dawn broke, a long queue of representatives of the printing industry coming from every corner of Gujarat started appearing at the registration counter. Everyone was in a hurry to register and enter the expo. Seeing the long queues at the registration counter, the organisers immediately reduced the registration formalities. The organisers' decision proved to be correct, the crowd at the registration counter decreased and started increasing at the expo. The flow of people coming to the expo continued till late afternoon, but by then their number crossed 10,000 in a single day. Each and every booth of the expo was packed with serious trade visitors. Buyers from more than 400 cities of every state, from Jammu-Kashmir to Tamil Nadu and from Assam to Gujarat, came to the expo.

The enthusiasm and passion remained intact on the third day. On the third day, the arrival of industrialists and businessmen from the printing industry from all over the country continued throughout the day. Deals were struck between buyers and sellers in a special atmosphere. The closing session was held at the end of the day, but before that, all the machines and equipment in the expo were booked on the spot. Here, each exhibitor got orders for 10 to 50 machines. Exhibitors did business of Rs 3- to 50-crore in three days. Overall, a business of about Rs 500-crore was done here in three days and more than 20,000 trade visitors visited the expo.

The closing ceremony was organised in the last session of the National Printing Expo. Gujarat's popular Rajya Sabha MP Mayank Nayak attended it as the chief guest. MP Mayank Nayak said in his address that Printers Club has organised a printing expo for the first time in Gandhinagar. The expo has achieved great success in the first time itself. The reason behind this is that Gujarat always welcomes innovation and the industry here believes in moving forward rapidly on the path of development.

MP Nayak welcomed the exhibitors and visitors who came to participate in the printing expo from all over the country in Gandhinagar. In the ceremony, MP Mayank Nayak honoured Telangana Printing Association President Dayakar Reddy, Rawal Trading Company director Prakash Bhaskar and Nilesh Rawal, head of printing department at RC Technical Institute Devang Rawal for their contribution in organising the expo.

Printers Club of India Directors Nitin Namdev, Aditya Singh, Lalit Kumawat in their addresses thanked all the exhibitors and visitors from across the country. Along with this, the National Printing Expo was again announced in September 2026 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar.
