Neat Graphics invests in Ricoh Pro C651EX

Mumbai-based pre-press bureau Neat Graphics has invested in a Richo Pro C651EX a digital printer which is installed at the firm’s site located at Jak Printers’ unit in Byculla, Mumbai. This is the second digital machine installed at the facility after Xerox Docucolor 242.

Commenting on the investment, Sandip Thanawala, managing director, Neat Graphics said, “The printer delivers good quality color output and has high uptime. The convenient inline finishing options helps to improve document workflow and will eventually contribute to the growth of business.”

Ricoh Pro C651EX can convert large-size, paper up to 300 gsm. According to Thanawala, “The deal clincher was that the machine is compatible with the Heidelberg work flow & CTP which we were already using.”

Richo Pro C651EX is equipped with vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) technology which can produces 4800 dpi image resolution and offers output up to  65 pages per minute.  Mechanical paper registration automatically adjusts paper to ensure precise registration accuracy on the front and back of every sheet.

Speaking about the use of the machine Thanawala said, “The machine is ideal for short-run jobs and to produce dummies and proofs. With this machine we will also be targeting at the coffee-table books segment and various digital printing requirements.”
