New technologies for newspaper printing: Tokyo Kikai Seisakusho (TKS)

With its twin folders and double delivery, the productivity can be doubled up to 1,60,000 copies per hour,” he said.

Sharma said TKS is quite content with its installation base of 42 double width towers and 11 folders as well as a full commercial heatset press. “With installations at Mathrubhumi, Hindustan Times and The Times of India, Manesar, TKS has installed most number of high speed presses/ towers in India in the recent past,” he said.

He added that with futuristic trends favouring double width presses, TKS is looking forward to further its strength in India.
