The gravure unit can be purchased for new as well as can be added to the existing machines manufactured by the company.

Alan Barretto, managing director, Nilpeter India, said, “Our gravure station will be unveiled during LabelExpo India. There will be some other add-ons for the FB series like the SMED unit (single-minute-exchange of die) and the FP4 unit (inline high speed flat bed foil stamping and embossing unit). Both the units may not necessarily bring any overt advantages, but go a very long way in saving costs for our customers. We are aware of the amount of time required to set-up a die unit during the make-ready of a job which the SMED does it on the fly. The FP4 unit, greatly reduces input costs by giving features like flat bed hot foiling with foil saving and that too at high speeds to suit the full rotary technology.”

Nilpeter India will be moved in to a new premise in Chennai, by the end of this year. And this move will enable the manufacturing company to serve its customers better by improving manufacturing lead times, live demos and knowledge sharing at its technology centre.

“Our heavy investment in Indian market shows that we are very positive with lots of scope to grow. Technology raised the bar for the industry and it will continue. There have been numerous examples of people becoming successful by embracing the latest technology at the right time. In our opinion, choice of technology and the timing of its adoption, both play a very important role for an organisation's success. We are always a big supporter of newer and better technology”, he further added.

He concluded by stating his success mantra, "The key lies in identifying and acquiring at the most appropraite moment to maximize its advantages to suit one's business plans and right value for the money and right money for the value."
