Offset Printers' Association's Print Yatra to Jammu

The Offset Printers' Association (OPA), Ludhiana launched a road show: Print Yatra which aimed to mobilise printers to visit PrintArt, an exhibition, held from 23-25 October, 2010, Ludhiana. The event focused on printing machinery and material.

Kamal Chopra, general secretary of OPA: "Besides inviting the print trade community for PrintArt show, we are also motivating printers to come together in their respective cities, in the form of an association in order to better the print industry."

The event also coincided with Jammu Printers’ Association (JPA) and the general body meeting of North India Printers' Association (NIPA).

Padamshri Shri Vijay Kumar Chopra, president NIPA and editor in-chief for Punjab Kesari group graced the occasion with his presence.

According to Chopra, the print industry should take corrective measures and gain optimum benefit from the support provided by the government.

"Being in an association you should keep liaison with regional as well other apex print associations," he added.
