In the packaging segment, Pakona Engineers India displayed form-fill-seal machines generated good leads. “The show being held in Greater Noida, most of the enquiries we received were from the North. “An exhibition like PackPlus gives a chance to the visitors to choose the machine of his requirement from several options available in the industry, through live demos, free product samples and one to one discussion with the company owners. PackPlus is a very well organized event,” said, Anupam Jain of Packaging Forte.
The International Packaging Conclave held a day prior to the start of the PackPlus exhibition, turned out to be the trigger puller with 120 delegates participating in the event. “The programme benefited the audience immensely as a subject like ‘Packaging Design’ is very crucial in any segment of packaging. The speakers from diversified fields talking on one subject covered the issue from all aspects. I would want the industry to take benefit of such knowledge sharing platforms to learn and grow,” said Prabuddha Dasgupta, Consultant, Signode India- a delegate at the Conclave.
The south edition of the exhibition called PackPlus South will transpire in Hyderabad.
Many exhibitors and industry leaders are complaining about the recent surfeit of print shows which has resulted in diminished visitor footfalls as well as serious business enquiries. Some exhibitors, while speaking to PrintWeek India said, "I think print is being revitalised and is being shown to be the real heartbeat of a marketing campaign and it's important to hearshowcase how print companies highlight the role of print. We hope print shows enable the industry to do that."
