“We have discussed the situation internally and externally, we have very carefully studied and learnt from experiences in other countries, and from Reed Exhibitions globally, and we believe that in order to deliver a blockbuster PackPlus Delhi this year, we must allow the industry more time to prepare,” said an organiser’s press note.
According to the event's organiser, Reed Exhibitions, the thought behind the venue change from Pragati Maidan in New Delhi to the India Expo Mart was to bring two Indian flagship events (PackPlus and the India Warehousing Show) together. “We have thoroughly analysed our exhibitor and visitor dynamics over recent years and have taken into account new approaches and innovations. Thus, we are moving PackPlus Delhi to India the Expo Mart to co-locate our two Indian flagship events together,” the press note added.
The previous edition of PackPlus Delhi saw almost 350 exhibitors and close to 20,000 trade visitors.
PackPlus is one of India’s leading exhibitions in the packaging, converting and supply chain industry. The event showcases new-to-market products and technologies from India and overseas.
