Anil Arora, president, Print-Packaging.com, the organiser of Packplus, said, “The change of venue is driven by exhibitor demand. The feedback that we have received is that while the larger exhibitors are happy with the limited crowd, the smaller playerslook for bigger crowd. Pragati Maidan fits the bill for such a demand, hence the move back to New Delhi.”
Besides exhibition, a two-day conclave focusing on supply chain and packaging will be held in concurrence with the show.
Besides this, the organisers have postponed Packplus South 2014 to September considering the elections and political situation in Andhra Pradesh. The show will be held from 17 to 20 September 2014.
Following Packplus South, Print-Packaging.com has also announced a new commercial printing, converting and sign show titled, Print Fair 2014, which is slated for 24 to 27 September 2014 at Hitex International Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad.
“The first edition of Print Fair will bring leading package, label and commercial printers as well as the signage makers on a common business platform with their suppliers,” said Arora.
