Chennai-based Proteck Machinery has launched new range of plate processor which includes new flexographic photopolymer plate processor Proflex 85, economic version of violet plate processor, Myka 70 and economic version of thermal plate processor, Pyka 85 at the show. According to Proteck Machinery, the Proflex 85 which is an inline processor is designed and developed indigenously for the first time in Asia. It is available in three different sizes of 36X48inch, 42x60inch and 52inchx80inch.   



Paper Bind has launched a 24-hour toll-free helpline for its customers. "This helpline will enable our customers to get access to Paper Bind for any sales enquiries or submit a support ticket, which can be tracked on a real-time basis. The system generates a query ticket and forwards the case to the concerned department, technician or distributor. The system also keeps track of the status on time-to-time basis," says Anuj Mehta, director, Paper Idea. At its stand, the company has showcased its PUR system 444, which was launched during the Ipex South Asia. According to Mehta, the machine has been receiving very good response since the launch and he hopes that Pamex would be able to take it further. The fully-automatic machine has a single 17-inch clamp, automatic spine detector, patented head technology with two separate tanks for PUR and automatic cleaner system. The company states that being a closed machine, the exposure to atmosphere is cut-off which increases the life of the PUR binding. The machine also allows switching from PUR to hotmelt.




Amritsar-based Associated Engineering Corporation (AEC), the manufacturer of printing, packaging, bindery, print finishing, converting, corrugated and box making machines under the brand name, Sujata, has launched a combined rotary slotter and creaser and rotary die cutting machine.The combined rotary slotter and creaser is designed to slot, crease, corner, slitting corrugated board to make boxes. It is equipped with variable drive and chain feeder, size and automation is optional. Rotary die-cutting machine is designed to cut and crease corrugated boxes. The die-cutter has a chain feeder pneumatic system with air pump and auto blanket repair systems. AEC has displayed six of its other products including programmable paper cutting, die-cutter cum foil press, rotary die-cutters, thin blade slotter, thermal lamination and slot die-cutting machines. Vinay Kumar Gupta, CEO, Associated Engineering Corporation, said: "We manufacture more than one hundred machines every year and our range of products is very large. Visitors are precise at the show." The company has the capability of manufacturing more than 100 machines per year.  




Pinnacle,
a supplier of photography equipments has launched its all new, ‘made in India’, Digitech UV coating machine. The machine, which is available in two sizes of 20-inch and 25-inch, works at a power supply of 220 VAC and is ideal for digital and offset single and double side prints. "It is the first Indian machinery in this segment, it is cost-efficient and is at par with the imported machines in terms of quality, performance and service," said Nayan Kumar of Pinnacle group. Pinnacle has its offices in Rajkot, Mumbai, and Delhi and has a distributor network all over India. They have an installation base of over 500 machines in India. Their product range includes, station UV coating, standard UV, classic UV, hot melt gumming, sleek digital album binding, pneumatic operated hot and cold press, hydraulic cutting, finishing and hot foiling and window cutting machine.
