Pamex 2020: Acme Machinery bags orders for five machines

The company displayed its corrugation machine, which has seen over 80 installations in last four years, and a mini effluent treatment plant (ETP) at the show.

Manish Shah, director – sales, Acme Machinery Company told PrintWeek that his company received good response from the show. However, he said the last edition of Pamex was the best for his company.

“We’ve received orders for five different machines this time at Pamex. We are also getting genuine enquiries for Rs five crores worth of equipment.”

Acme machinery has been in business since five decades. The company, which started off with trading inks and tradel printing machines, is now trying to set foot into the corrugated box making machines market.

Shah said, “We are into print finishing and packaging. Right now we’re focusing on corrugated box industry. We’re trying to bring new developments, design, quality, speed and several other changes in our machines.”

“The mini ETP plant is mainly to recycle inks. Normally, the printers drain out water after they wash the machine. Due to the pollution control norms, the water has to be recycled. With this ETP unit, pigment can be separated from the water and disposed of. Meanwhile, the water can be used for plantation and flushing purposes,” Shah added.

Shah said the firm has received two orders for the mini ETP unit at the exhibition.
