Pamex 2020: HP unveils HP Indigo 7eco digital press

On the opening day of Pamex 2020 on 6 January, HP India announced the launch of HP Indigo 7eco Digital Press, which is aimed at boosting productivity and quality by sustainable printing, with the help of advanced technology.

The unique feature of the machine is that has been manufactured using recycled spare parts, thus making it more affordable. The manufacturing of the machine has been certified as CO2 Neutral as the press uses many factory-recycled parts (more than 40%), offers carbon-free production, and has a full oil recycling system.

Setting a benchmark in sustainable technology, the HP Indigo 7eco offers quality and versatility, increasing productivity, efficiently for enterprises. With less manpower, media wastage and power consumption, the HP Indigo 7eco is designed to deliver efficient print production.

A Appadurai, country manager, Indigo and PageWide Web Press, Graphics Solutions Business, HP India and Sri Lanka, said, “With the launch of sustainable technology in the printing industry, HP aims to introduce the consumers to the latest innovations, enabling them to increase their production at an affordable relatively lower cost, and time with less power consumption, manpower, production time and wastage.”

The HP Indigo 7eco Digital Press can print up to 160 colour pages/min using Enhanced Productivity Mode (EPM), which has the potential to simulate four-colour using only C/M/Y.
