Pamex 2024: DGM showcases die-cutting machine
During the Pamex 2024, held from 6 to 9 February, DGM Automation showcased its die-cutting and folder gluer machines. The company closed seventeen deals with nine customers. When asked about the response from the show, Puneet Agarwal, MD, DGM Automation said, “The response has been good, and we received good in-flow of enquiry.”

The machine has a high pile feeder (1,650-mm) and can die-cut both boards (80 to 2,000-gsm) and three-ply sheets (up to B-flute). Plus, the machine is easy to use. Even machines are equipped with both side pull and push type side-lay which is mechanically convertible and no need to take out pull type sidelay and fix pushtype. These features help with a quick changeover for better productivity.
“Four out of the nine customers we sold the machine to, are from the west. Our next action is a new launch of the die cutter in Drupa,” Agarwal added.
Agarwal also disclosed the details of the new deals closed during Pamex. The customers include Himdhara in Greater-Noida: Technocut 1050S die cutter& Smartfold 1100SL folder gluer; Agra-based Perfect Packers booked a Technocut 1050S die cutter; Royal Arts in Kundali invested in a folder gluer, Smartfold 800PC.
Pack Systems in Noida opted for a TechnoFold 1100SL folder gluer, which makes export-quality three-ply four and six corner boxes. “Vasai-based OK Paper bought a TechnoFold 1100 SL, and Sheth Impressions for its new plant in NalaSopara, opted for a Smartfold 800 PC which was displayed in exhibition, Pariman Enterprises for its new plant in Bhiwandi, also invested in a Smartfold 800 PC,” said Agarwal.
DGM also closed mega deals of five machines from Ahmedabad-based Canpac Trends for its upcoming packaging units pan india and four machines ( TechnoFoil 1050FC, Technocut 1050S, Smartfold 1100SL and Technofold 1100PC) deal from Jaipur who is an existing customer in Jaipur named Agarwal MatPack.
Aggarwal added, “Concentrate on capability with capacity and not only price and brand. Look for what you can do at the best price possible. Another problem that I see in the industry is a successor issue, a lot of companies are selling out their businesses for the same. The next generation should be retained.”
