Deepak Chawla, senior GM, marketing and corporate communication, TechNova, said, “This diverse line-up reflects our commitment to providing cutting-edge, sustainable solutions that meet the dynamic demands of today’s printing industry.”

He added, “Pamex 2023 marked a significant event for TechNova. After facing the unprecedented challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent supply chain disruptions in 2020-21 and 2021-22, we witnessed a robust recovery and revival in demand last year.”

He said, while 2022-23 started with pent-up demand, the period since Pamex 2023 has seen the market return to its pre-Covid vigour. However, this recovery hasn't been without its challenges, particularly due to ongoing high-cost pressures. “Despite these hurdles, this year has been about overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities through innovation,” he added.

According to Chawla, At Pamex 2024, TechNova will showcase a range of products each with standout features that provide label converters with a competitive edge.

“Our recent partnership with Esko enhances our offerings in the packaging, digital and hybrid print environments, alongside our Eco3 range of software solutions, designed to seamlessly integrate offset and digital platforms and elevate print quality. In essence, our offerings, ranging from green solutions, diverse digital solutions for publishing and commercial segments, to comprehensive packaging solutions, are all tailored to give our customers a decisive competitive edge in quality, sustainability, and efficiency,” he said.

Chawla said TechNova has experienced a tremendous response and significant installations of its products across the country. Its HP Indigo digital press and flexo plates have been particularly well-received by packaging converters, while its digital devices have garnered substantial interest from commercial and book printers.

The company has facilitated numerous installations, including notable names such as Leo Flexipack, Prinova Solutions LLP, Essel Propack, CCL Design, Shilp Gravures, Perfect Scan, Sheth Publisher, Nutech Print Services, to name a few.

Looking towards 2024-25, Chawla envisions a stable yet growth-oriented market in India. With the nation poised to become a five-trillion economy by 2025, the company anticipates a direct boost in per capita print consumption. Key drivers such as packvertising, print-on-demand, customisation, hyper-localisation and sustainability are expected to shape the industry's trajectory.

“In this evolving landscape, digital printing will take significant leaps, with industry leaders introducing cost-effective, innovative solutions. The shift in demand from China presents a golden opportunity for the Indian print industry to emerge as a global print-sourcing hub. However, challenges such as geopolitical issues may influence commodity prices, making supply chain management and visibility critical factors. Additionally, compliance is set to become more stringent, and it will be a focal point for us,” Chawla said.

He concluded, “At TechNova, we are prepared to navigate these changes. Our commitment is to offer dependable, sustainable and profitable solutions. The industry has survived the turbulent times of 2020 and 2021, revived in 2022 and 2023, and is now poised to thrive in 2024-25.”
