Manoj Mehta and Dr N C Saha will deliver the keynote address at the Pamex “International Technology Conference” scheduled for 10 December 2015, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) in Mumbai, organised by Mumbai Mudrak Sangh.
Pamex 2015, organised by All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), and managed by Print-Packaging.com, is all set for its latest edition to be held from 9-12 December 2015, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Mumbai. More than 300 exhibitors are part of the show which is spread over 8000sq/metres.
Manoj Mehta who will present the welcome address is the director at Manipal Utility Packaging Solutions and is a past president of the All India Federation of Master Printers and Bombay Master Printers' Association (BMPA).
“This year is the 25th edition of Pamex, and the time is most opportune to host a conference for the print firm owners from interiors of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and other parts of India,” said Tushar Dhote, Pamex co-chairman.
"Manoj Mehta is an industry veteran and during his stint with AIFMP has been instrumental in creating a strong foothold and better outreach for the federation. The attendees will benefit from hearing this thought leader and print entrepreneur, first hand.”
Following Mehta, Steve Smiley, Smiley Color & Associates Global Brand Solution, will present the ways in which printers can optimise their colour management tools.
Following this, a panel discussion will feature top brand owners and product development champions, who will share their case studies and print results with the audience.
Make in India keynote by N C Saha
The post-lunch session will begin with a keynote address on Make in India by Dr N C Saha, the director of Indian Institute of Packaging, Mumbai.
The second panel of the day, titled How to Make Print in India, will see Indian manufacturers, who have made a mark in the Indian Hall of Fame, in a discussion moderated by Ramu Ramanathan, editor of Printweek India.
This includes luminaries such as C G Ramakrishnan, executive director and COO of TechNova, H T Hirpara, general manager of Line-O-Matic, Pallippuram Sajith, director of Welbound Worldwide, C N Ashok, director of Autoprint, and C P Paul, chairman and managing director of APL Machinery.
The third panel discussion with global manufacturers - to be hosted by B S Kampani of Toyo Inks - include Subhashis Roy, director of Bobst India, Puneet Datta, director, professional printing products division of Canon India, Samir Gulve, vice president and managing director of EFI, and Ajay Agarwal, director and CEO of Insight Communications.
The panel’s focus will be the successes that these global players have attained in India and their plans for Drupa 2016.
