We signed up with 10 new channel partners in eight countries in Asia, and four new channel partners in the Middle East and Africa regions. This brings us to the first leg of our international business."

With a new production facility in Gurgaon, and new channel partners, Paper Bind plans to start its export range of digital creasers, slit cut and crease systems (SCC) and lamination machines. In the near future, the offer would also include single clamp PUR binders and guillotine machines.

Paper Bind's  domestic sales figures validated Mehta’s claim of a successful Drupa. The company announced the first unit sale of its slit cut and crease system (DPC 370SCC) to Avantika Printers in New Delhi. The other sales announcements shared include two units of PUR System 444, one unit of PUR System 444 Plus — a system which was launched during the show. The company also received orders for 15 units of its Digital Pressure Crease System.

Commenting on the sales, Mehta said, “We can see a significant transition taking place in the print industry, and the good part is that India is leading this change. The domestic sales figures of the PUR System 444 at Drupa take our total installation count of the machine in India to eight units. It’s a significant achievement and we're glad to see the Indian print industry getting inclined towards PUR technology.”
