R Srinath, proprietor of Parishree Printers, said, “My father started our letterpress printing business around 48 years ago, which later evolved into single-colour offset printing. Proud of being the second generation in the business, I’m now taking care of our new digital printing division, which we especially opened for short-run and print-on-demand (POD) jobs with the installation of the ImagePress V800.”
He added, “We chose the Canon digital production system over other brands because of its credibility in terms of versatility, speed, and quality print outputs. Nevertheless, this ImagePress V800 is an ideal digital colour production system with features that tick every box of our requirements in digital printing. It has enabled us to break into commercial digital printing, unlocking innovative print production.”
Srinath said the productivity and flexibility of the ImagePress V800 are remarkable as it adds new value and quality to its short-run production of books, brochures, catalogues, magazines, notebooks, calendars, fliers, stickers, business cards, certificates, letterheads, invitation cards, among others
“The Canon digital colour production printing system’s excellent registration, colour calibration, profiling, and other features have helped us obtain what we want in POD production,” he said.
Beyond the traditional offset printing, which they carry out using a portfolio of capable machines like a four-colour Komori Lithrone 26 and others, Parishree Printers is now leveraging Canon’s technological competency, advancement, and expertise in their new digital journey.
