Parveen Aggarwal re-elected as president of OPA

Prof Kamal Mohan Chopra was re-elected as the general secretary for the term 2025-26.

Parveen Aggarwal was unanimously re-elected as the president of the Offset Printers Association (OPA) during the 37th annual general meeting (AGM). The meeting, held at Ludhiana, also saw Prof Kamal Mohan Chopra re-elected as the general secretary for the term 2025-26.

Both Aggarwal and Prof Chopra have played pivotal roles in elevating the OPA’s stature in the printing industry, fostering collaboration, and championing innovation.

Aggarwal said, “It is an honour to serve this esteemed association, and I am humbled by the trust placed in me once again. Together with Prof Chopra and the newly formed team, we will continue striving to make OPA a beacon of excellence for the printing community.”

Chopra said, “This is not just a role but a responsibility to uphold the values and vision of OPA. With the collective efforts of this talented team, we aim to drive further growth and bring new opportunities to our members.”

The other office-bearers of the newly formed team comprise Kushl Kumar Jain of Jain Packwell as senior vice-president; Gagandeep Singh of Pal Box Factory of vice-president; Hans Raj Chopra of Roop Rang Printing Press as finance secretary; Nitin Malik of Nitin Packers as secretary. 

The executive members include Rohan Oberai of Pacific Packers; Amrinder Singh of Best Process; Sudhir Chopra of Foil Printers; and Manvir Inder Singh of Azad Box Factory.

The AGM also served as a platform for discussing the future roadmap for the printing industry. The members emphasised the importance of adapting to evolving technologies, enhancing sustainability, and fostering skill development among the younger generation.
