The machine was supplied and installed by Monotech Systems, the Indian representative of Ricoh.
Sumit Aggarwal of Aaruhi Enterprises said, “We can say that Ricoh is a workhorse, especially when it comes to speed, variety, weight of the media and colour consistency. Even during our trial before the purchase of the machine, we were satisfied with its performance.”
Established in 2017, Aaruhi prints packaging jobs, commercial jobs, wedding cards and labels on the Ricoh.
Aggarwal, the second generation of the family-owned business, started his journey in 2013 with a Konica Minolta press and established Aaruhi in 2017.
“My father has a packaging business called Divya Enterprises, located in Chawri Baazar, Old Delhi. The company’s design was outsourced. So, I learnt design and started helping my father in his business as a designer. We moved from Chawri Baazar to Patparganj Industrial Area in 2020 because production activities were not allowed in Chawri Baazar,” he said.
He added, “We experienced that Ricoh is a heavy-duty machine. We printed 2,000 prints in one go without any break on the Ricoh press and made the job delivery in 30 minutes. The exact printing time was 18 min.”
He added that the customers are happy with the printing as the colour reproduction on the sheet is the same as it is on the screen.
Ajeet Pareek, business head, Monotech Systems, said, “We are proud as it is Delhi-NCR’s first installation of the Ricoh high-speed digital press and Aaruhi is making the most of it. This is a production horse, and it is going to give an edge to the business.”
