Pidilite continues its support to PrintWeek India’s search for the best Packaging Converter of the Year 2017

Pidilite Industries, one of the leaders in offering a range of adhesives with various technologies to the print industry, has confirmed to support PrintWeek India Awards as a category sponsor for the Packaging Converter of the Year Award 2017, as it had done in the previous two editions.

The buzz around PrintWeek India Awards is ‘excellence in print’ and each year more and more print companies vie to be worshipped on the altar of success. When the awards go to the most deserving of the nominees, these print companies turn into superstars.

“PrintWeek India Awards represents the best in the industry, and Pidilite Industries is glad to be part of the endeavour,” said the company’s business manager Sanjiv Kalra.

According to Pidilite, it has always made adhesives which add value to print. “We have focussed on making products with the latest technologies which give better value for money to our customers in terms of higher throughput while lowering machine maintenance costs, thereby making print more affordable for consumers. Pidilite was felicitated as the best forming company in the chemical sector by Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2016,” said Kalra.

Among the emerging technologies Pidilite has been associated with, Kalra said, are its products on polyurethanes and water-based adhesive for lamination and high speed gluing application; and metallocene hot melts for high-performance requirements. “We position ourselves as an integral part of the graphic arts industry. The PrintWeek India Awards gives us a feel of the upcoming trends in the industry, and also an opportunity to network with customers.”

Besides Pidilite, other companies extending support to PrintWeek India Awards are: Sona Papers for quality category – Fine Art Printer of the Year; Welbound Worldwide for two quality categories – Book Printer of the Year (Academic & Trade) and Book Printer of the Year (Specialty); and Bobst India for the Performance category – Packaging Company of the Year. Sona Papers is also the Paper Partner for the Awards.

The last date for early bird entries is 30 June. Early bird entrants shall gain an advantage of discounted entry fees. The entry fees for early bird entrants are Rs 2,500 + taxes (GST as applicable) per entry, whereas the standard entry fees are Rs 3,000 + taxes (GST as applicable) per entry.
