Chennai-based Monotech Systems, who manufactures a range of printing equipment in multiple segments as well as is the Indian representative of several overseas manufacturers, launched four wide-format printers from its brand Pixeljet in Media Expo Delhi. 10.5 ft; an UV flatbed printer with roll media option equipped with six KM 1024 printheads; a ECO3.2m eco-solvent machine equipped with Epson DX5 double printheads for
“We have full range of solvent and eco-solvent machines,” said Manoj Garg, head of wide-format division, Monotech Systems. “In eco-solvent, we have six-ft as well as 10-ft machines. We want to replace the solvent market with UV technology, especially on recycled media. Our aim is to go with green technology. We are educating our customers about it and this transformation will take time, but will be very beneficial for the industry.”
Monotech enjoys more than 450 installations in India in multiple segments. Last year, the company sold more than 20 UV printing machines. “Our main focus is on roll to roll UV printers. Printers demand service backup, stability, and various applications, especially in UV flatbed, industrial applications like glass, wood, PVC, Ceramic and others, different substrate printability and value addition,” he added.
Delhi-based I Graphics, Nagpur-based SK Scanner, Agra-based Glass Gallery and Chennai-based Prince Polymer are few of the key customers of Monotech Systems.
