Plastindia 2018: Bobst to present a slew of new products for plastic packaging sector
Exhibiting at Hall 8 / Stall C63 of Plastindia 2018 in Gandhinagar, the Switzerland-based rotogravure and flexo press manufacturer Bobst will showcase a range of new products and functionalities that aim to boost process performance and filmic substrate functionality in manufacturing plastic packaging.

Among the new products that the company will introduce at the show is K5 Vision vacuum metalliser, which according to Bobst, is an ideal choice for CPP film manufacturing. The metalliser has been developed to handle heat sensitive films and thin gauge substrates.
It will also introduce new CO 5000 and CO 8000 coating machines along with new technical developments such as aluminium lacquering for pharmaceutical and food applications, no-label-look labels and AlOx or SiOx protective or barrier coatings.
On gravure printing front, Bobst will showcase new RS 6003 platform alongside the RS 5002, which is popular press in the Indian subcontinent. In CI flexo printing, the new MW series is suited for production in the medium to lower wide-web range and a mix of job lengths.
Bobst will also highlight its M6 line which boasts of the advantages of inline UV flexo and all-in-one-pass multi-process printing, as well as the unique benefits of BOBST Digital Flexo automation combined with seven-colour Revo, extended colour gamut printing.
